What should I wear to participate in the different activities?
This isn’t a fashion show so go with comfortable clothing to enjoy the fun activities! Only appropriate clothing must be worn. This means loose-fitting clothes, T-shirts and athletic wear that allows pores to breathe. This may seem a bit obvious but we don’t allow stuff with pointy bits in the play zones.
One last thing: you can’t wear any jewellery of any sort while playing in be.UP Park.
What shoes can I wear?
As all shoes need to be removed and be.UP Park grip socks worn, we have no requirements for footwear. be.UP provides free shoes for Climbing Wall activity.

For your convenience we offer free shoe cubbies.
We have several lockers available for your valuables, phones, etc. With a deposit of R20, we give you a padlock for the duration of your session. Don’t forget to leave the padlock at the reception before leaving.
Your property is left in these lockers entirely at your own risk.
Note that be.UP Park is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Why do I need to wear those grippy be.UP socks?
Our be.UP socks have been designed to increase grip in the games, reducing the risk of injury. Yes, it’s now a bit of a legal requirement sort of thing. We want to do whatever it takes to keep you safe after all. The socks cost just R20 and are yours to keep and re-use.
Do I need to buy the grippy be.UP socks every time I visit my favourite Park?
No, you can buy them once and bring them every time you visit.

What are your safety rules?
To ensure the safety of all our be.UP Park guests, there is a court monitor supervising all areas of the park at all times. We have strict capacity levels that we adhere to on a daily basis and all guests are briefed on dos & don’ts before their playtime begins. (Our T&Cs will all be included in your confirmation when booking, which must be signed.)
We reserve the right to exclude any person not willing to follow our Internal safety rules.
Can adults participate?
Yes, they can and we always encourage them to participate. The question should be: Why can’t adults play in be.UP Park? We are an indoor family fun park! Join us and be.UP!
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi in be.UP park is fully functioning. We chase our suppliers every day to make sure you can surf the net freely. We cannot guarantee full and constant high capacity but strive to offer the best conditions.
Where can we watch our children play? Do I have to pay to watch my kids?
You are more than welcome to watch them in the surrounding platform areas around each game. No, you only pay if you participate. We have a Café, a mezzanine area with free Wi-Fi, comfortable sofas around the park and other areas where you can watch your kids having fun.
Do I have to purchase tickets online in advance?
No, but it’s the only way to guarantee a spot for you in our different zones of the Park and despite the fact that our park is huge, we are really busy and often sell out so we strongly recommend it. You can also sign a waiver online to save you more time when you get to the park.
I don’t have a credit/debit card. Can I pay when I get there?
All online reservations must be paid at the time of booking. If you’re not able to do this online, you can pay upon arrival, but you will run the risk of missing out on your preferred be.UP session.
When do I need to show up for a session?
We suggest that you arrive 10 minutes before. This gives you time to put your belongings away and get ready to discover the be.UP Activities. If traffic’s terrible or your boss was in “just one more thing” mode and you arrive up to 30 mins late, we’ll sneak you in for the rest of your session but you may miss the start.
Do I need to sign a waiver before I can participate?
Yes. Everybody needs to have a waiver signed. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for you, but does not have to be present when you visit the facility. Waivers can be filled out online or filled out at the location. Waivers will stay on file for one year. You may fill it out on site.
Can I complete my waiver online?
We highly recommend completing waivers online so that they link with our booking system at the park and you will have a much quicker check-in process when you arrive.
We have tablets you can use just in case, but you don’t want to miss a minute of your session, do you?
Do I have to sign a waiver for my kids every time they visit be.UP Park?

Are be.UP Park Activities dangerous?
Trampoline jumping, climbing walls and the ropes courses are comparable in risk to other sports like skateboarding, snow skiing, ice hockey and football. Jump or climb within your ability and don’t attempt advanced moves that are beyond you. This is not the place to show off or try to impress anyone.
Fortunately, we’ve invested heavily in training our staff. Anyone can blow a whistle. Our park safety monitors are trained to predict and prevent - not just react to things.
